Introduction

With so much happening in the world, it can be difficult finding a therapist you can connect with. As a 1.5 generation Filipina-American, I strive to provide culturally-competent services because feeling understood impacts the effectiveness of treatment. I specialize in working with adults of immigrant parents and Asian-Americans (including S.E. Asians, Filipinos). Mental health continues to be stigmatized in many cultures. It is time for change because depression, anxiety, and major life events can leave you feeling lonely, defeated and exhausted! Getting help for your mental health needs is an act of courage, not shame. I’ve been privileged to work with clients in medical and mental health settings since 2011. I’ve learned that a healthy therapeutic relationship with collaboration can promote trust, healing and growth. And fostering a safe and private space is necessary! People are resilient and can thrive in relationships with themselves, others and the world around them. My goal is to help you gain clarity, insight, and skills to move forward in your life. I use a psychodynamic approach with different research-based modalities (CBT & AEDP) to help you reach your goals. Other areas of interest include working with the LGBTQ-plus community, adults with chronic illness(es). In addition, I provide Soft Skills Coaching for Professionals. Email inquiries preferred and will be the fastest way to receive a response! Thank you.
