I'm so glad you are here. In addition to years of study (including earning two Master of Arts degrees) and work experience in a variety of settings and the in-depth education and experience required to become a licensed mental health counselor, I have received advanced postgraduate training in Bowen Family Systems Theory in Washington, DC (2012-2015), substance abuse and recovery treatment as a co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders counselor (2019-2022), and training and experience in DBT including training through Behavioral Tech, a Linehan Institute training company, and the C-DBT certification credential. I leverage this training and experience as a coach, counselor, and psychotherapist to help people from all walks of life who seek to solve problems or achieve goals to alleviate emotional pain, improve functioning, and reach their full potential.
