Introduction

I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and I attained my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I began working as a therapist in community-based mental health, where I received great experience with families, couples, individuals, and children from all walks of life. I have extensive experience working with children and young adults, and have worked professionally with children for over a decade. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages to help them move through complicated situations, deal with adjustments, and strengthen their connections within their families and personal relationships. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, boundary setting, and identity issues. I have also worked with the LGBTQIA+ community and Victims of Crime. I believe that every individual is unique and bring that into each session. I use an integrative and holistic approach that is heavily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also pull from other modalities, assisting my clients in their pursuit of reaching a goal-oriented, stress-free life. Therapy fosters growth and discovery. My desire as a therapist is to provide a non-judgmental, safe space where my clients can explore all parts of themselves at their own pace. I have a very open mind, creating a framework for good conversations and meaningful relationships. I am here to provide services to support my clients while they navigate through their individual challenges, achieve their desired goals, and uncover their purpose.
