This is your journey - you’re driving, I’m sitting in the passenger seat to provide some direction when needed. Therapy is whatever you want it to be and I’m here for it! It’s not about my agenda or what I think you should work on. Just showing up for a session in an authentic way is productive. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychosis as well as interpersonal and relationship issues. My approach is kind and warm, but I will also be direct and honest with you. You are the expert in your own life and I hope to help you navigate the issues bringing you to therapy with compassion and even with some humor. Acknowledging that you need help navigating any current challenges is the hardest part of this process and I’m already so proud of you for being here! Please feel free to reach out and we can chat about your therapeutic goals.
