Dr. Lama earned her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Dominican Republic, where she was born. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Westchester Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Dr Lama is a double board-certified psychiatrist in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
