Hello! I’m a doctoral intern at ARMH. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages who are going through periods of stress and transition in their lives. I have experience working with chronic illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, and disordered eating. As a queer person, I am passionate about providing inclusive, affirming care to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I enjoy working with clients as they explore the intersections of their various identities and experiences. I use an existentialist approach in my work, meaning that I seek to help clients find a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. I integrate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients identify their values and regulate their emotions in order to move closer to their treatment goals. However above all, it is most important to me that I build a relationship with my clients. It is only through an authentic, honest relationship that we can create change and find clarity together
