Introduction

Imagine resolving your anxiety and stress rather than constantly trying to manage it or run from it. Some degree of stress is a typical part of life, but when it turns into chronic anxiety, it can impact every aspect of life. Anxiety may also be a result of some degree of unresolved trauma, and if that is a possibility for you, resolving the impact it has on your life is a gift that is available to you. Stress and the things that go with it often turn into physiological reactions identified as mood or personality ‘disorders’, including anxiety, depression, and addiction, among other labels. Blaming yourself (or others) for the pain you’re experiencing is not a solution and is likely to make your symptoms worse. Knowing you have the choice to take responsibility for your wellbeing and put yourself in charge of how you experience life is a significant part of recovery and resolution. Our goal is to help you understand your anxiety better and learn how your nervous system tries to keep you safe when it thinks you’re in trouble. Learn what works best for you by learning what it means to care for yourself from the inside out while you develop an understanding of what is happening within and around you. We will work with you to better understand how your past experiences, from generalized stressors to complex trauma impact your response to life. Seeing yourself through an objective and compassionate lens will let you make changes that bring you closer to a place of joy. I am an independently licensed practitioner providing clinical care since 1997. My team and I use evidence-based treatment interventions including somatic and polyvagal-informed, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, EMDR, and NeurOptimal (R) non-linear neurofeedback to address symptoms of anxiety, compulsions, trauma and grief as well as personality traits and patterns that impact relationships, marriages, families and overall quality of life. If you or a loved one are impacted by any of the issues I’ve mentioned, I’m grateful that you’re seeking support and we look forward to working with you! To meet the growing demand for NeurOptimal (R) neurofeedback and EMDR services, we are expanding our services and availability. We are excited to announce our new name and Independence, Ohio location: Be Well Cleveland 5000 Rockside Square Suite 250
