Introduction

Do you often second guess yourself? Do you feel like no matter what you do you aren't good enough? Do you devote so much energy to helping others that you rarely leave any space to take care of yourself? Are you struggling in your romantic relationship and questioning if you and your partner are compatible or ready to commit to one another? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, we might be the perfect match! My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself and assist you in achieving goals that are important to you. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to discuss things that may be difficult to verbalize. I work with clients 14 and up as well as couples, who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, gender identity, life transitions, relationship and family issues. I use an eclectic approach rooted in a variety of evidenced based practices. I work best with clients looking for feedback and who enjoy being compassionately challenged. I like to bring humor and radical genuineness into sessions. If you are open and willing to work hard, so am I. I am intensively trained in DBT through the Linehan Institute. Additionally, I combine techniques from Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy. I also see couples using the Gottman method and Prepare/Enrich (for pre-marital/pre-commitment counseling), including those engaged in or looking to explore ethical nonmonogamy. I am LGBTQ+ allied and able to provide gender affirming surgery evaluations and letters. I believe using an individualized approach tailored to you leads to the best outcome. I use a conversational approach and provide a warm and empathetic environment. I want you to feel like you are talking to a real person and believe a good therapeutic relationship is vital to success. I want you to leave each session feeling heard, understood and empowered. *Note: I am out of network for relationship therapy*
