Introduction

I am a military veteran who, after 20 years in the military community chose a second career in counseling. With over 12 plus years as a therapist in community counseling and grief agencies in San Antonio, I've evolved into roles such as a certified trauma therapist for survivors of sexual and physical abuse, a grief subject matter expert and eventually a Chief Program Officer of a non profit counseling agency. Alongside my professional growth, I navigated my own personal challenges, including my own traumatic grief, divorce, managing blended family conflicts, overcoming abuse and workplace conflicts. Throughout my career, I grateful to have earned the respect from colleagues for my dedication to continuous development, embracing the latest evidence-based practices, and leading with our team with a servant and democratic leadership style focused on emotional intelligence promoting both mental and physical well-being for all team members. Drawing on my extensive personal and professional experience, I am here to help you navigate your own challenges. I provide support and direct guidance grounded in evidence-based and solution-focused practices tailored to help you move forward and become the best version of yourself. Ready to reclaim your life and become the person you know you can be? Contact me for a free 20-minute consultation to find out how I can help and let's take the first step in your journey together.
