Introduction

I have many years of experience helping people with a wide array of concerns. A partial list includes; depression, anxiety, family or relationship issues, trauma, loss, increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance, and making life decisions and achieving goals. I offer techniques and suggestions that can reduce current distress, but also prioritize a collaborative relationship to increase understanding of your self and understanding patterns of thought and behavior that can open the door to choices that support lasting life satisfaction. I am experienced with a number of effective therapeutic approaches and specific techniques. As I come to an in-depth understanding of who you are and your goals, I offer what we both agree works best for you. I work to develop a safe and supportive therapy relationship where you can express and question what you feel and think, free of judgment. Professional Background: I have been a psychologist in private practice for over 30 years. During that time I have also worked in several other professional settings: university psychology departments and counseling centers, community mental health, crisis and emergency room consultation, a U.S Army medical center, and medical hospital and outpatient medical clinics. I am currently offering Telehealth psychotherapy exclusively. Contact for more information or if you wish to schedule a 20 minute no-cost initial consultation.
