I mainly specialize in helping adolescents and adults struggling with anxious and depressed feelings, including those with thoughts of suicide. Through compassion, humor, and evidence-based practices, I assist my clients in identifying and gaining mastery over distressful beliefs and feelings, so that they can become the person they envision for themselves. These evidence-based practices include solution-focused and rational emotive behavioral approaches. These approaches allow my clients to identify both the self-defeating thoughts and behaviors that they engage in, as well as the real inner strength they have to overcome their struggles.
