Introduction

I mainly specialize in helping adolescents and adults struggling with anxious and depressed feelings, including those with thoughts of suicide. Through compassion, humor, and evidence-based practices, I assist my clients in identifying and gaining mastery over distressful beliefs and feelings, so that they can become the person they envision for themselves. These evidence-based practices include solution-focused and rational emotive behavioral approaches. These approaches allow my clients to identify both the self-defeating thoughts and behaviors that they engage in, as well as the real inner strength they have to overcome their struggles. Together, we can work toward helping you to not just feel better, but *get* better.
