Introduction

Mandy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has recently relocated to Colorado. Originally from New Mexico, Mandy earned a bachelors and a masters degree in Clinical Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. She has worked with diverse populations ranging from children, adolescents to adults and families within settings such as outpatient facilities and clinics, non-profit organizations, and federally funded programs. She utilizes a client-centered and strengths-based approach and believes that trust and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship are the most important aspects of the process. She focuses on issues around trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, and relationship counseling for individuals and couples. Mandy incorporates various therapeutic elements including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and is certified in the Gottman Method Level 1 and Level 2. Mandy is passionate about providing a safe space, to cultivate greater self-understanding, compassion for oneself and the ability to navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and ease.
