I am an LMSW who has been licensed for two years and have been working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals for over 4 years. I specialize in working with people who experience trauma, anxiety, and depression. My work is focused on supporting folks who are moving through life's transitions while empowering them to know that they are the expert in their life and journey. I am trained in a somatic-based therapy technique called Compassionate Inquiry, which relies on integrating increased physical awareness as a foundation into the therapeutic process. Compassionate Inquiry focuses on the connection between physical sensations and emotions. Somatic therapy integrates elements of talk therapy with body techniques to provide increased awareness which is helpful for clients trying to heal from trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, or substance use.
