I work with women who identify as kind and giving, yet who often feel inadequate and alone. My clients tend to try to do it all, fear disappointing others, and instead end up feeling isolated, resentful, and anxious. Maybe they look like they have everything together, but on the inside they’re barely hanging on. They don’t want to burden their loved ones with their struggles. What usually is keeping them stuck? Old stories that they continue to tell themselves that reinforce an idea that they aren’t enough. Spoiler alert? They are absolutely more than enough. Through our work together, my clients learn to examine these old stories and craft more compassionate ones. They learn to recognize their inherent value and strength, which in turn allows them to grow and flourish in all aspects of their lives. And perhaps most importantly, they finally learn how to embrace themselves, quirks and all, to be seen and loved authentically and unconditionally.
