LPC-A Rooted Sojourner Counseling
Available next week
Specialties: Trauma, Attachment Issues, Stress, Burnout, Codependency,

Introduction

I have lived overseas most of my life and understand the challenges of transition, stress-management, raising third-kids, and marriage in a global missions context. With experience in relationships, ADHD, addiction, trauma and parenting teens, I am trained in EMDR and polyvagal attachment therapy, while incorporating other modalities such as trauma-informed and Gottman-based marriage counseling. My other passions are healthy movement (200 hr CrossYoga teacher certification) and healthy nutrition. Integration of the whole person can move us towards whole-living. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Scott Floyd, LPC-S The name Rooted Sojourner comes from the idea that we are all temporarily passing through a place that is not our home, whether we view this through the lens of our earthly home and eternity, or as sojourners living around the globe. We need healthy roots, and counseling aims to identify the core areas that are causing pain today and restore health so we can be healthy, grounded and ready for growth and wholeness.
