Feeling stuck in emotions, relationships, or patterns that are impacting your quality of life? Does it sometimes feel impossible to express how you’re feeling, leaving you isolated and disconnected? You are not alone. My mission is to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you can explore and process your current and past struggles, even when words are hard to find. Research shows that when we recall traumatic events, the part of our brain responsible for speech, Broca’s area, can shut down. I use trauma-informed approaches to help you express and heal, even when words fail. Let's work together to reclaim your well-being. I believe therapy should be as unique as each individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and I draw from a variety of modalities like CBT, DBT, Expressive Arts, and Somatic interventions. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating recovery from traumatic experiences using modalities such as Expressive Arts and Somatic interventions to explore the connection between mind and body and explore the themes and experiences we may not be able to put into words on the journey toward healing. I also specialize in working with couples. Utilizing an approach informed by Gottman, we will work together to establish healthy communication patterns, restore or enhance a feeling of connectedness, and address head on issues that are keeping you from feeling fulfilled in your relationship. Overall, my approach is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we’ll co-create a personalized path toward achieving your therapeutic goals. Feeling stuck does not have to be a fact of life. There is hope for healing and change. I would be honored to walk alongside you through the valleys and peaks, empowering you with the tools (both long-held and new!) to own your own narrative.
