Hey I’m Maddie! Helping others cultivate self compassion and form a healthy relationship with their body is the driving force behind the work I do. I also work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression and ADHD using value based modalities in therapy. This allows for self determination and client autonomy. I enjoy incorporating a mind-body perspective into the work I do with clients. Regardless of the modality being used, my work is centered around the belief that through self-acceptance, mindfulness, and compassion, we can learn ways to be at peace in our minds and bodies. I love working alongside people as they discover the tools they already have within them to live a purposeful life. I’m most drawn to supporting individuals healing from an eating disorder or other body image difficulties. I am also trained in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and OCD. In my free time you can find me on my yoga mat, hiking, or tending to my overabundance of house plants. I also love cozying up with a book and a cup of coffee with my husband and our pets.
