Introduction

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who provides Telehealth sessions (video sessions) to adults who live in California. I have several years of counseling experience working with people in traditional therapy settings as well as in field based settings. As a therapist that once provided field-based therapy, I have had the opportunity to practice in different communities and gain experience in various areas including trauma, depression, anxiety, relational and family conflict, as well as stress. Typically, I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and client-centered approaches, but am also comfortable with motivational interviewing and family therapy models. Regardless of the method I use, know that flexibility, being practical and straightforward, providing and accepting feedback, as well as having a sense of humor are all a part of my process and strengths. Whether it is something from your past or a present stressor, I modify a combination of these approaches and strengths to work collaboratively with you to better help you reach your goals.
