Hello! We come into this world hopeful and expectant, with an innate sense of self-worth and belief, seeking stability and peace. Through our upbringing and experiences, this can be eroded or suppressed, but it never disappears completely. I believe that people can reach a place of self-acceptance and be reminded that they have power. At my practice, I offer psychotherapy for people who are ready to deeply explore their own lives in service to a better future. We will start by defining your goals for therapy. Together, we will explore the thoughts, feelings, and origins of your distress. I offer active listening and open and honest reflections informed by a compassionate use of psychodynamic techniques so you can so you can move forward at your own pace. I come from a training background rooted in trauma and related anxiety and depression. This experience lends itself to being able to support people with a variety of difficulties, and allows me to be adaptive and flexible with clients.
