Introduction

My name is Macie, and I’m a therapist who genuinely cares about helping people feel better. I believe in working together and building a strong connection to achieve emotional well-being. I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families in challenging situations, including foster care, the justice system, and crisis. I’m honored to have the opportunity to support you on your journey towards emotional well-being. I value connection and building trust, so you’ll have the freedom to take charge of your treatment. I’ll conduct a thorough assessment to understand your strengths and needs, and we’ll come up with a plan that works best for you. I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and I’m certified as a Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH) provider. We’ll start with a friendly introductory session where you can share your story and goals. I’ll create a warm and welcoming space for you to feel comfortable and open. Together, we’ll work hard to make your goals a reality in our future sessions.
