**Please note: I am currently accepting new clients (updated 8/17/2022)** I provide evidence-based care for OCD & other anxiety disorders (e.g., panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, etc.). My approach is skills-focused and emphasizes each client’s active participation in care within/between sessions. I tend to view my broad goal as “to put myself out of a job,” meaning that I aim to help you learn more adaptive ways to relate to your current difficulties and actively practice what you learn so that you no longer feel like psychotherapy is necessary. I hope to support you to spend more time doing what you value most and less time on anxious distress/avoidance, getting back to living the life you want. I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PhD) trained in treating anxiety disorders using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to work with key components that drive behavior change (e.g., cognitive reappraisal, exposure strategies, behavior activation) in a robust, practical manner. I incorporate mindfulness- and strength-based approaches into care. I remain committed to the provision of compassionate, culturally humble psychological care to those with diverse backgrounds and identities. Please feel free to reach out to learn more about services offered by me at the group practice where I provide care, Meridian Psychology Practice, https://www.meridianpractice.org/staff/mackelly.
