As a queer individual, I am passionate about working with and advocating for the queer and neurodiverse communities. I provide my clients a creative and affirming environment to work through life’s challenges with a provider with whom they know has shared experiences and training in providing affirming care. Art therapy is uniquely compatible to help in processing and alleviating the issues and trauma faced by many queer and neurodivergent individuals, because art making supports the exploration and expression of one's most authentic self. By using a Trauma Informed approach, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) also helps us in working together towards the ultimate goal of no longer letting our past experiences, emotions, or thoughts control and interfere with the present. In addition to therapeutic care, I also provide services like letters of support for HRT and gender affirming surgeries.
