I am a biracial female Licensed Clinical Social Worker using the pronouns she/her. I currently live in Oakland, California by way of the East Coast. I have been serving individuals and couples in private practice since April of 2019 after a decade of providing mental health services to adolescents in the public school setting. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2011 from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Mental Health and Schools. It is through both lived personal and professional experiences that I am passionate and committed to supporting multicultural and multiracial individuals and couples. Assisting folx in fostering new emotional connections with themselves and others as well as learning how to identify patterns within the emotion-thought-behavior continuum is foundational to my work. As a clinician, I believe in creating a sacred and supportive space for healing that is unique for each individual. My approach is one of personal empowerment and holistic wellness. I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused, Solution-focused and Strength Based modalities in order to promote growth and well-being. If you or you and your partner are looking for the opportunity to reflect, grow and interrupt unhealthy cycles, I encourage you to take the wellness journey with me. I welcome and invite you to re-connect emotionally to yourself and your loved ones. And I welcome and invite you to reflect, heal and grow!
