Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with nearly 20 years experience working in the field of behavioral healthcare. I provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, and maternal mental health issues, as well as separation anxiety and emotional regulation issues in children. My style is warm, informal, and authentic. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and collaborate with you to determine what will be the most meaningful course of therapy for you, or for your child. Play therapy is my preferred approach with children, adolescents, and even sometimes with adults! One of my favorite techniques to use in session is Sand Tray Therapy, where clients create scenes in the sand tray using miniatures. When you participate in this creative process, it often allows you to evaluate your situation from a completely different perspective! If you think I might be a good fit for your therapy needs, but would like more information, click the Contact link at the top of the page and complete the inquiry form to receive a free 15 minute phone consultation. Or if you're ready to get started, you can click on Request Appointment, and I will respond to you within 24 hours with my availability. I look forward to starting our conversation together.
