Introduction

I am nationally certified by the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a psychotherapist, trainer and consultant. My current practice is as a cognitive behavioral psychotherapist. But, I am also a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. My current practice is via Tele-health. I'm licensed in CA, NY and FL. I treat people coping with anxiety, trauma, and/or mood disorders, including helping people cope with bipolar spectrum disorders. I also work with younger-through-older adults coping with stressful life transitions, and work with loved ones of people experiencing cognitive decline. My goals are to help all clients find effective ways to manage distressing symptoms, decrease suffering, and engage in things that matter to them. I am reminded daily of the courage and grit with which people face their personal challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such courageous individuals. And, I am thankful for my training in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy because it gives me tools to help others reduce suffering and live life more fully.
