Introduction

I am a Midwest Nebraska native. My therapeutic person-centered approach is based on the belief that individuals are born with inherent goodness. I strive to make individuals feel valued and not judged. I use this approach along with different treatment methods to help heal the whole person. I am a Catholic-Christian counselor; yet allow the client to determine how much, if any, faith to incorporate in sessions without projecting my own beliefs onto others. I believe it is my calling to help others by providing counseling to individuals and families who feel stuck and want to improve their current situation. My specialty is trauma which often includes anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, domestic/family discord, conflict, intimate partner violence, abuse/neglect, mood dysregulation, and substance abuse. I primarily work with adolescents and adults and am well-versed in learning disabilities. I help clients learn healthy coping skills, reduce mental health symptoms, and empower individuals to feel confident. Let's see if we're a good fit. Call or email to schedule an appointment with me.
