I have a generalized practice working with individual adults who face a variety of challenges. My primary focus is grief and life transitions. I also enjoy working with people who have long standing difficulties with depression and anxiety as it is rewarding to see them find solutions and healthy coping skills that allow them to live more fulfilled and happier lives. My education and experience have confirmed for me that everyone is valuable and unique and although many people seek treatment for the same reason, each person’s treatment needs to be uniquely tailored to them and their situation. In the beginning of someone’s treatment we identify what is contributing to the difficulties they are experiencing and develop treatment goals. Treatment is then focused on identifying their strengths, healthy characteristics, finding solutions, and developing healthy coping skills that help them obtain the goals they defined.
