Introduction
Hello. I've always had an interest in helping people. Originally, I thought this meant a pursuit in medicine. After some time on that route, I realized it was not for me and transitioned to studying psychology. I knew the switch to psychology was ultimately to obtain a career as a mental health therapist. I find understanding others and creating a safe space to be a skill of mine. It was the incessant comments on that trait in me that made me change the career path I was on. I find it an honor to be allowed into that sacred space of sitting with others as they navigate their stories.
