Transitioning to parenthood and managing your emotions postpartum once your baby is born can be difficult. As a perinatal therapist, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can process these major life changes. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs. I use techniques that are collaborative, client centered, and trauma informed. I will challenge harmful thought patterns and assist you with better understanding your thoughts and emotions before, during, and after pregnancy. As a therapist, I have experience working with individuals in every step in the perinatal stage; from contemplating family building, dealing with infertility, having preterm babies, traumatic births, miscarriages and postpartum depression/anxiety. Prior to being a therapist, I was a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) social worker, which allowed me to support babies and parents during vulnerable moments. I am a mixed Latina, and I understand managing intersectional identities can be difficult. Creating an inclusive space where you feel empowered during your therapeutic process is at my forefront. I would be honored to be apart of your perinatal journey. Contact me via phone or email to see if we would be a good fit for one another.
