I am accepting new Clients. My desire is to support you and your family through the challenges of life. I have over 25 years of experience working with school aged children/teens and parents. My preferred counseling theory is Cognitive Behavioral Theory, but I am familiar with a wide variety of other counseling theories (EMDR, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Systems) that may work better for you and your family. I completed both a M.S. degree in Psychology from Utah State University in 2005 and a M.A. degree in Counseling from Ottawa University in 2016. Currently I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with school aged children, teens and parents by instructing them on improving parenting skills, cognition, healthy choices, peer relations, academics, career goals and social skills. I have worked with adults who find themselves in painful life transitions. Whether it is substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, goal setting, moving, family/relationships, or feeling stuck in life, it is my goal to provide counseling services to meet your needs. I am a Clinical Supervisor to support Therapists gaining licensure, as well as supporting Therapists wanting to become a Clinical Supervisor.
