Introduction

Have you ever been at the point where you wondered how much longer you can keep going on like this? The stress, financial issues, career decisions, dysfunctional families, unhealthy relationships, etc.; they all add up. Eventually, we can feel like we are drowning and we need help! Watching people go through “the motions” of life, without finding true joy and happiness, is what made me go into counseling in the first place. I want to help you find that within yourself, to learn to cope with the “ups and downs” life throws at us, and find beauty in the journey. I specialize in helping people work through depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and substance abuse. I use an integrative approach of various therapeutic theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Exposure Therapy, along with many more. I create individualized therapy sessions for each client dependent upon their needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). I enjoy learning and growing in my profession to be the best possible resource for my clients. In 2019, I interned with UAB Beacon Recovery working with adolescents and adults in drug and alcohol addiction, then went on to work with the Jimmie Hale Mission after graduation in Birmingham, AL. to help men in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. I moved to Huntsville in 2021 and have been working in private practice ever since. I have several years of experience in mental health counseling and have loved every minute of it
