Your symptoms might include excessive amounts of worry, difficulty sleeping, negative beliefs about yourself or the world, irritability, low mood, or thoughts and memories that intrude on your daily life. If this sounds familiar, you are likely in the right place! I provide a client centered approach focusing on building and maintaining a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Research has shown that a strong therapeutic alliance is just as impactful as any specific modality or treatment in helping you reach your goals! During our first few sessions we will focus on understanding the history and context of your symptoms, developing treatment goals, and making sure I am the right therapist for your needs. My role as your therapist will be to speed up your brain’s natural healing process by providing skills and interventions specific to your needs. One of my favorite ways to do this is with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy).
