I foster an environment of warm, empathic energy to make you feel safe disclosing complex topics. My expertise lies in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship, and parenting issues. My goal is to provide clients with the necessary tools for their personal, spiritual, and professional transitions in life. I'm looking forward to the possibility of being a positive supportive relationship to you helping you find the clarity you are hoping for during these challenging times. EXPERIENCE I have a Pupil Personnel School Counseling Credential and have worked in the k-12 school system for over ten years as a mental health coordinator and lead crisis counselor. I've worked with children with emotional disabilities, both with 504's or Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s), and offer Educational Related Mental Health Assessments to help develop goals that help children be successful at school and help parents feel supported and not alone. In addition to working with school-age children, I have experience working with adults. I have worked with many adults, individually, as parents, and couples supported them during life difficulties and transitions. As a Graduate School Instructor, I have first-hand experience working with college students. Working with college students has helped me understand the stress and pressure that these challenging, but exciting times bring to this time in life. I provide mental health educational presentations and classes to educators, corporations, businesses, and professionals in groups to help reduce burnout in the workplace and help give strategies to have balance and maintain self-care to support their work-life balance.
