Introduction

but nothing is going to change until we confront and contend with the root of how we got here. We must reckon with our personal and collective past if we're going to have any real hope of a future worth living in. Choose me as your therapist if you’d like to begin composting your own bullshit. Healing is like vomiting – the only way to feel better is to get it out. In a lot of ways, I will be like that friend who holds your hair back as you release whatever’s ailing you and comforts you afterward. This is a collective effort that we all must hold ourselves accountable to… just come find me when you’re ready to hug the toilet. My intention with my clients is to help you heal so you can be more effective at fighting internal and external oppression. That said, thank you for still being here. You could have given up several times by this point, but you didn’t. It’s exactly that toughness that we’re going to need to build a more compassionate world together. The time is now to liberate our collective future. So let’s start with yours, shall we? What you want matters; it doesn’t make you bad, it makes you lovely. My license (Marriage and Family Therapist) is the only mental health license that requires a minimum number of “relational” hours for full licensure. This means I am uniquely equipped to help couples/polycules get to the root of their conflicts. In addition, even when I am working with an individual I see their problems and solutions through a relational lens. My craft is informed by my experience as a (non-binary) trans woman and the educational labor of countless Queer & trans BIPOC womxn & femmes. This creates a style that is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-focused. Systems of Supremacy will be confronted in our sessions as we combine our imaginations to dream up more compassionate ways to live. It's the joy of my life when people trust me enough to request my presence on their journey. Whether it’s me or somebody else, I hope that Land brings you the perfect person for what you’re needing help with. Genuinely, thank you for taking the steps necessary to make a better life for yourself; the world is a softer place for it. I won't quit if you won't. “There’s magic[k] in being seen by someone who understands — it gives you permission to keep going.” ~Alok Vaid-Menon
