I have been in practice for over 20 years. My treatment approach is influenced by my background in clinical social work from UC Berkeley and psychodynamic clinical training at the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago. I work relationally and collaboratively with clients, incorporating techniques focused on meeting their goals. My work with clients often involves exploring the origins of difficult emotions and unhelpful patterns with a focus on their inner strengths, what truly matters, and moving into alignment with their more authentic self. My areas of specialty include: depression, anxiety, resolving trauma, first responder issues, sense of self issues, job-related issues, and life transitions. Emotional wellness is a key element of life, of which everyone is deserving. Sometimes people find themselves stuck in negative emotions or enacting unhealthy patterns, but there is always a path back to wellness. Please feel free to reach out for a consult to see if we would work well together.
