Hello, my name is Lori Reynolds, and I have been a psychotherapist since 2002. I obtained my Master’s from Pepperdine University, and over the past 20 years have enjoyed narrowing my focus of treatment to specializing in trauma therapy (TFCBT and Solution Focused CBT). Although I see a wide variety of ages, diagnoses, and presenting problems, my history with working with trauma has influenced the Continuing Education I pursue (Havening, TFCBT, Trauma Workshops, Bessel van der Kolk, Dr. Ruden, Dr. Amen, Dr. Siegel.) My goal as a therapist is to help people navigate a tricky time in their life and get back on track as soon as possible. I’m the holder of hope and ideas for improved functioning when at times it’s hard to see that yourself. The first 13 years of my work was spent at a non-profit mental health clinic where I was a supervisor for our high risk foster youth and oversaw programs such as WrapAround and IFCCS (Intensive Field Capable Client Services). We worked closely with DCFS, DMH, and local psychiatrists. Overlapping that time period, I have had a full private practice since 2007. Post 2020, my practice has moved to entirely telehealth, which I must say has gone quite well. I was worried how that would go, but the past two years have proved it’s still successful, genuine, authentic, and able to achieve strong rapport. Thanks for taking the time to read a little bit about me. Warmly, Lori
