Introduction

I see my clients through the humanistic psychology lens. I stress the inherent value of human beings and focus on their ability and willingness to maintain dignity while growing in self-respect and competence. I take the holistic approach (Salutogensis), integrating a sense of coherence between health, stress, and coping versus the pathogenic system that looks for a problem to be fixed. The wellness model sees the world as understandable, manageable, and meaningful. I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS, and polyvagal therapy based on neurobiology. I interweave attachment distress with repair treatments, adding meditation or prayer (if open to it) for a fully human therapy experience.
