Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that have been serving the rural area for the past 10 years in a Community Based Mental Health Center. My style is direct, practical, nurturing, challenging, strength based and eclectic. I feel that I'm a pretty easy going person and look forward to meeting you. Specialties include: EMDR, CBT, DBT, integrated and other techniques as needed. I specialize in identifying your negative thoughts and beliefs, connecting your past to your present to build a more authentic future and assist you on learning coping and life skills to manage your overall mental health. Whether you've been in therapy before or you're looking for a new therapist for the first time, finding a therapist that is right for you can be daunting. I believe that success of therapy begins with the relationship with your therapist, it's all about the fit. I love working with a variety of people and concerns. I have experience in trauma work and am trained in a variety of modalities to fit what's best for you.
