For over 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to listen as clients shared their story and trusted me to help. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a large and diverse “tool bag” of research-supported methods and strategies to help people gain insight, develop skills, and strengthen the resilience they need to be happier, healthier, and improve their relationships. I have specialized training and experience working with people who are struggling with anxiety. However, I also work with clients who are experiencing depression, navigating life changes, healing from trauma, or looking for coping skills to manage stress. As both a licensed professional counselor in Texas and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I have a special interest and unique qualifications to help individuals who are seeking help for health-related issues. I received my PhD in 2002 in the field of family sciences and human development. I served several years as a full-time university professor teaching developmental psychology, research, and graduate counseling courses. In addition to working with clients, I enjoy my role as an LPC supervisor. Visit my website: https://www.resilienceic.com/
