Introduction

Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating! While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life starting our first session. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. My first 13 of 27 years of experience is intentionally diverse and ranges from working within the juvenile system monitoring treatment of a subclass lawsuit, being a School Therapist at an inner-city alternative school working with gang members to working with adolescent girls at a residential treatment center, a VA hospital, community mental health, and much more. 14 years ago, I started my practice with expertise in adolescents, women's issues, mood disorders, couple’s issues, life coaching, assertiveness training and issues related to self-esteem, as well helping people cope with the stress and grieving the losses that life can bring such as divorce, miscarriage, infertility, death, job loss, chronic pain and illness etc. I provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges while integrating complementary methodologies and techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. My goal is to make you feel as much at ease as possible while working on your struggles and challenges together and where your confidentiality is taken very seriously. Services are currently offered via telehealth to meet the lifestyle needs of busy individuals, professionals and families as well as accommodate those statewide.
