Loretta enjoys spending time reading, creating DYI project,cooking and caring for her plant baby collection. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends. She is a Kentucky native, who graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. She began working in the helping field in 2006, with her first practicum at the Women's Hope Center. She then work at Greenhouse 17, formally Bluegrass Domestic Violence Shelter for almost 10 years before opening Birchwood Healing Place in 2016. Loretta has over 15 years of experience in the helping field. She is trained in EMDR and utilizes several additional mind/ body modalities. Loretta believes that each individual is unique and will work with you on a wellness plan that is specific to your needs.
