Hello, my name is Locker McDonald. I am an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of John Thorington MA, LPC-S, SRT, Dmin and I’m passionate about helping teens and adults learn about how their past is impacting their present. The majority of my practice focuses on anxiety, depression, anger, and addiction. My approach is person centered and trauma-informed. I have extensive training in trauma-informed modalities such as EMDR, which equip me for exploring the stories of individuals with compassion and expertise. I do not impose my Christian views on clients who do not share my beliefs, but for those seeking Christian Counseling, I integrate a Gospel-centered approach, emphasizing the redemptive nature of God’s presence in our stories.
