It's nice to meet you! I offer anti-oppressive, trauma-focused, and evidenced-based therapy for all who seek it.I got into this field, after working on my own issues with a therapist. I love being my own boss and helping others! I specialize in treating identifying females 12+ years old with complex PTSD, body dysmorphic disorder, mood disorders and alcoholism recovery. I utilize a person in systems, integrated approach, and my go-to's are CBT, Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, DBT, IFS, and mindful movement/meditation. I graduated from the University of Denver GSSW with a trauma-focused MSW degree in 2020, and from California State University of Northridge with a BA in Honors Psychology (Cum Laude) in 2017, where I volunteered at the CSUN Crises Hotline. Beyond my formal education, I have five years+ of micro-macro experience working with a diverse clientele, including treating individuals, couples, families and providing group therapy, and clinical supervision/internships at Her Wellness Therapy, Soma Psychotherapy, and Holistic Elements MHT, in the Salt Lake Metro area (outpatient). Before this with tweens/teens at Copper Hills Youth Center (inpatient) in West Jordan, Utah. I have completed training in CBT (University of Denver, GSSW, 2019), EMDR (Dr. Jennifer Sweeton, 2021), and in Nutrition and Mental Health (Cantebury University, 2023). Trauma and mental illness, are a normal responses to living in a sick society, and a part of life, suffering is preventable. I believe everyone has the ability to thrive, with adequate resources. I see myself as a change agent. Together we’ll explore and process the power and stuck points behind each trauma/issue, and address negative/limiting beliefs (often established in childhood). I'll give you the tools, and support, and walk with you throughout your healing journey, until you are in a good place. Allow me to help keep you accountable, and fully heal, so you can finally thrive! Reach out if you're ready to work hard for some much needed healing. I also offer coaching for people who have already worked on themselves, and are needing more general guidance and support. I look forward to connecting with you!
