Introduction

My name is Lisette, and I thank you for reviewing my website. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2011 with a Masters in Social work, with a clinical specialty. Prior to that I was working as a counselor in a residential dual diagnosis and substance abuse setting. Originally from England, I now practice out of Houston and see Texas based clients virtually, and in my Houston office. I offer you a very discreet, compassionate, humanist forward approach with ACT/CBT/IFS/Brainspotting training. Also certified in Complex Trauma (CCTP-II) and CBGT for insomnia. I have spent many years working for a major Texas hospital providing crisis intervention, substance abuse assessment, family intervention, grief counseling, adjustment to chronic illness as well as general supportive therapy. I am very familiar with the various inpatient and outpatient treatment centers in Texas should that be under consideration by my clients. I see a wide range of clients with a variety of presenting issues. I do have a special passion for grief work, alcohol and substance use disorders, neurodivergent individuals, older adults, trauma, and kind/respectful separation. Sessions are $190 each for individuals, $250 for couples. All sessions are 50 minutes. Please utilize the link below for scheduling. When we confirm the appointment you will receive consent and intake paperwork. My office is located in the Hauser Clinic in Bellaire. Thank you for your interest and I very much look forward to our work together. (For more information regarding brainspotting please refer to https://brainspotting.com/. My training was completed with Dr. David Grand. I will not utilize brainspotting with clients presenting with alcohol or substance use disorder. Please contact me if you would like to participate solely in brainspotting to assess suitability.) Would 100% recommend for anyone with anxiety and depression. And she is really nice too." A "Lisette is incredibly smart, patient, trustworthy and empathetic. I have been with her for a number of years now. She has a way of helping you see the forest from the trees without being judgy or imparting her personal values. Highly recommend her services!" T "I have had the pleasure of working with Lisette for the last decade and have never met someone more dedicated to their clients. Her insights are keen, and her ability to build rapport is unmatched. Lisette is sincere, authentic, and altogether unique. She is a credit to our profession."
