Introduction

Welcome, to my practice, I have availability to see new clients before 4 p.m. My first name is pronounced "LEE-SET" (pronouns she/her/hers). I provide psychotherapy and gender therapy to Californians of all ages through telehealth. I have been licensed for over 25 years. My work involves helping clients to heal from depression, mood disorders, and the effects of trauma. I utilize a range of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR for trauma processing, and Harm Reduction Approaches. All of my care is trauma-informed, which means that it is focused on understanding and addressing the impact of trauma on individuals. I have been providing gender-affirming care to transgender, non-binary, intersex, and individuals questioning their gender identity for more than two decades. Additionally I have worked with LGBTQIA+ people for my entire career. My experience includes working with children, teenagers, adults, as well as their loved ones since 1999. I am a gender therapist and a Certified World Professional Association for Transgender Health Member. Additionally, I am also a WPATH Certified Mentor and provide individual consultation/mentorship as well as online consult groups to mental health clinicians worldwide. Bilingual in the Spanish language (Yo hablo español), I am committed to providing culturally competent care to LGBTIQA people and welcome clients of color. I am a cisgender woman of mixed ethnicity White/Latine with white privilege. Book a brief first-time meeting directly into my schedule, they are free of charge.
