Introduction

As a Barefoot and Balanced counselor, I specialize in supporting gender-diverse children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. My practice focuses on helping young individuals explore their identity, navigate coming out, social transitioning, and considering medical options if chosen. I offer virtual therapy to clients across Oregon and Washington, providing a safe, understanding space for exploration and growth. I also provide education and support to families of gender-diverse youth by helping them navigate their own feelings and experiences. My qualifications allow me to supply essential documentation for clients considering medical interventions, such as readiness assessments or WPATH letters of support, and I am able to offer clarity throughout the process. As a lesbian and someone who has navigated gender incongruence, my personal experiences enrich my counseling. I focus on serving the queer community and other marginalized groups with an emphasis on equity and awareness of intersectionality. If you're seeking a therapist who understands the challenges of complex identities, I am here to help.
