Lisa Shaw received her master’s degree at Geneva College (Pennsylvania) in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Counseling. After receiving her degree, she began working in the addiction field which has remained her primary field of practice for the last 15 plus years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) in Pennsylvania and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Master of Addiction Counselor(MAC) in the state of Pennsylvania. She has passion for working in the addiction field which includes helping individuals who are struggling with aspects of addiction as well as the family and friends that have been impacted by a loved one’s addictive patterns. In the last several years Lisa has expanded her focus to address trauma related impacts and symptomology including helping individuals who have been impacted by antagonist (narcissistic) abuse in relationships. She feels therapy is a working partnership and does not see herself as expert but of guide.
