Introduction

Not accepting new Clients until Fall 2021. Entering therapy there may be a desire for change, but uncertainty about how to achieve that change. As a Therapist, my strength is working in tandem with Clients to create goals, learn new skills, create a support network and celebrate the progress towards change. Success in therapy is finding positive strengths, building confidence and making personally meaningful changes in life. I am comfortable working with Clients who are unsure about sharing with someone new and understand building the trust needed for a therapeutic relationship takes time. My treatment uses an eclectic approach and draws on multiple techniques and exercises to best meet the needs of my Client. These techniques include changing negative thoughts, exploring different viewpoints, and discussing practical applications of therapy skills. As a Child Mental Health Specialist I work with all ages from Preschoolers to Teens. I also enjoy working with Adults. I have experience working with Asperger's, the public school system, LGBTQA Clients, and the challenges of Military life. I am LGBTQA+ affirming, however I am unable to write letters for Gender Affirming Surgery.
