Lisa Rohrer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, disordered eating, perinatal struggles and parenting concerns. Lisa brings an empathetic presence to her relationship with clients, allowing space for struggle while collaborating to establish goals and gain new skills in an active and positive relationship. Lisa has had extensive experience over the past 15 years in various clinical environments, including private practice, community mental health, and outpatient treatment centers. Prior to her work in private practice, Lisa spent almost a decade as a therapist at an eating disorder treatment center, providing individual, group, and meal-supported therapy to women at various levels of treatment. Utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Lisa actively works with clients to recognize unhelpful patterns or behaviors and respond in a healthy way that is consistent with their values. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. She currently lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and three children.
