Introduction

______________________________________________________________________________ Can you relate to any of this? You’re perceived as having it “all together.” But you want to actually feel that way on the inside. ⟶. Struggling to say “no” at work or at home (even when you really want to) ⟶. Never feeling like you’re good enough in your career or relationships ⟶ Immediately reacting to situations in ways you’re not proud of ⟶ Living with a near-constant sense of anxiety, worry, or overwhelm If you’re looking for empowering, effective, non-stuffy therapy, then you’re in the right place. Hi, I’M LISA. I’m am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Professional Life Coach. I work with ambitious adults who want to make the most out of their lives. They’re tired of feeling caught in cycles of anxiety, relationship struggles, and stress…and they’re ready to do something about it. My approach to therapy isn’t like what you see in the movies— I’m not going to sit idly and simply listen to you talk. I’m actually going to get into the hard stuff with you in order to get to the root cause of what you’re facing. Then, we’re going to use that insight to start make real changes in your life. MY SPECIALTIES I know it can be difficult to describe exactly what you’re needing support with right now—that’s okay! Usually, my clients are experiencing challenges in at least one of these areas: ANXIETY You feel like you can’t stop worrying and always seem to default to the worst case scenario. You want to increase your confidence and learn to control those automatic anxious thoughts. RELATIONSHIPS You struggle to stand up for what you want or need at work or at home, and saying “no” is tough. Sometimes you react impulsively with anger or frustration. You want to be able to slow down and respond differently. STRESS & BURNOUT Life feels out of balance, overwhelming, and downright exhausting. It feels like something’s got to give. Let’s get you off the burnout train and moving toward a state of confidence, balance, and purpose. I’m here to help you: ⟶. Understand yourself better ⟶. Get clear on your values and what’s really important to you Identify your strengths and build on them ⟶. Take back control over your thoughts, behaviors, and actions [SCHEDULE FREE CONSULTATION] IN-PERSON AND ONLINE SESSIONS AVAILABLE Support from my couch or yours. I offer in-person therapy in Houston and online therapy for residents across TX.
